Officially incorporated in 1913
Carrollton is a suburb of Dallas and in 2006 was named to America’s “Top 100 Places to Live” by Relocate America. Also in 2006, it was selected as the 19th best place to live in the United States by Money magazine.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is five miles southwest of Carrollton, and Dallas Love Field is eight miles south.
